Happy New Year!!

Happy New Year!!

I hope your 2015 is full of fun, love, happiness and many great opportunities. Remember this year can be a whole new slate, leave the bad things from 2014 in 2014, start new and be who you want to be.
*bit deep there, what did ya think?;)*

So I am going to share with you my new years resolutions...
I'm kind of scared to do this because once they're written down and shared, I've kind of GOT to keep up with them when usually, like most people I'm assuming, I forget about them about a week into January, woops.

1) To do more for charity
Originally I wanted to do one thing a month but coming up with 12 activities to do would be a heck of a lot! So I changed it to doing something for charity every other month if I can, this way I don't have to stress and force a quick fundraiser. I am hoping to raise money for Martin House, Dogs Trust and Save the children. If I don't manage to do this I still want to be able to say I tried my hardest.

2) Be happier
This sounds easy but I just want to live a life without all the drama, just a care free life doing what I want and smiling about it.

3) I think this is everyone's but get fitter
I've been saying this for a while now but have never had the motivation to do it, so now I'm hoping that having it as a new years resolution will give me a tiny bit of motivation to get me going, I'm not wanting to go from one lifestyle to another over night but I do want to make slight changes over the course of the year to eventually be a lot fitter and healthier. For example, cut chocolate and sweets.

4) I don't think this counts as a resolution, maybe a goal but I really want to expand my makeup collection
This sounds silly but I love watching tutorials on youtube and I would love to have enough different makeup products to do the tutorials!! I currently have all the basics then a few variations but I would love to have all sorts of products, am I the only one?

5) Lastly I want to start a hobby
I used to go to a drama/dance/singing school but it got closed down so I would love to find somewhere else, maybe not singing but definitely drama I would also like to start tap dance, god knows why it just looks so fun!

I would love to know what your resolutions are, and if you kept to last years because I certainly didn't!!

Nature is beautiful

Okay so this isn't fashion or makeup but in a way it is beauty, natural beauty. I'm talking about nature and scenes that we take for granted that are actually really beautiful. I've managed to capture gorgeous pictures and thought I'd share with you some of the amazing sights.

this picture calms me, the floor isn't the prettiest looking but its just so open and free.

I know this isn't the average beauty post but I was looking through these pictures and realised there are some truly beautiful sights in the world if we just take a few seconds to appreciate where we live.

What I got for christmas ~ 2014

So, we all know its just been Christmas!! (Late merry Christmas guys!) And I got many lovely things, my family and friends spoilt me rotten. So I decided I would share all the amazing gifts that I received this year, but of course I am not bragging in no way shape or form, I am grateful for every single thing I received! So before I start rambling here is what I got this year...

So first thing in the morning me and my sister (Courtney, she's 19) take our stockings 'from santa' into my parents room to open before going down to our main presents. This year I got the above along with some millions but I've eaten them...

This year I got quite a few things related to youtube, I FINALLY got some Tanya burr nail polish and of course I got Zoe and Alfie's books which I had resisted buying for ages knowing it was on my list!

This Christmas was quite girly, these are the makeup/beauty things I got, the lush soap at the top smells delicious by the way!!

I am obsessed with new look, its my favourite shop so this year I asked for a few clothes from there so I got the tank top and pants from new look, the 5SOS tshirt and sweatshirt are from amazon. I also got a beautiful small kimono but it was downstairs when I took this picture but I think it is in a later one haha

My bestfriend (ella, my age) got me this box full of goodies which included some funny things and some normal nice presents, the white blob is a tshirt and yes there is a pack of jelly because everyone loves jelly and if you don't you're lying.

My grandma also got me a selection of goodies which I thought was cute enough to have its own picture, this is the kimono I mentioned earlier but you cant really see it, it's basically just plain black and over sized!

Of course, it's Christmas, I got lots of pyjamas!! These included tigger, little miss and mickie mouse!

Finally are some of my parents gifts, they got me a few little bits but these are the ones I photographed which were my main presents. No they didn't just get me an xbox controller and a game, they got me an actual xbox but it's all set up in my room so I didn't take a photo of that.

 

I couldn't photograph the necklace I got because the flash washed it out, but I got a beautiful little necklace that had a silver flower on with an emerald centre, which is beautiful and I haven't taken it off since I got it!

 

That's everything I got for Christmas (not including all the chocolate and sweets and possibly the odd thing I left out, woopsies) Oh and once again I would like to say I am not bragging about the things I got I just thought I would share them because personally I love watching what I got for Christmas videos and reading about it in blogs. I hope you all had an amazing day and if you don't celebrate Christmas I hope you're having a nice winter break anyway!

Who am I?

Okay, so i'm Olivia (call me liv/livvy) and I have wanted to start a blog for a really long time but truth be told, I couldn't figure out how to!! But anyway, I've started this blog and its going to be related to fashion and makeup along with anything I want to write about to be honest.
I'm currently 14, living in west Yorkshire (England).
I don't really want to go on about myself too much but basically I like music, makeup, fashion and twitter (don't we all?!) oh and food I love food.

Did I mention I have a camera and like to take pictures?

Some call it photography, but that sounds professional and trained which I aren't, I got a camera and a book on photography and now I'm learning as I go!
